Bands in m/s, distance in metres.

    Total distance9.6 km
    Total time84:37

The ledger of work done. Every metre, every change of gear, every collision with the ground.

    • Total distance covered
    • High-speed running distance
    • PlayerLoad — tri-axial jerk
    • Accelerations, by intensity band
    • Decelerations, by intensity band
  • 29

    Peak periods

The worst five minutes of the match, hunted down and measured. Averages forgive. Peaks do not.

    • Hardest 1 / 3 / 5 min work rate
    • Busiest minute of micro-movement
    • Most accel + decel in one minute
    • Share of session above 80% of peak
  • 24

    Speed & sprint

How close the athlete came to their own ceiling, and how often they dared touch it.

    • Fastest speed reached
    • Sprints above personal threshold
    • Distance covered sprinting
    • Repeat-sprint fade, first to last
    • Average recovery between sprints
  • 40

    Fatigue

The athlete at minute ninety against the athlete at minute one, and which quality gave out first.

    • High-intensity efforts detected
    • Average recovery-risk level
    • Speed returned per heartbeat
    • Work rate lost, 1st half to 2nd
    • Steepness of the fatigue trend
  • 14

    Change of direction

Cuts, turns and hard stops — the mechanics that never show in a distance total and break people anyway.

    • Turns by angle, 30 to 90°
    • Left-right turn imbalance
    • Explosive moves forward
    • Explosive moves sideways
    • Explosive moves backward
  • 72

    Gait mechanics

Stride by stride, limb by limb — the signature of how an athlete runs, and the moment it starts to change.

    • Step frequency
    • Steps on the right leg
    • Steps on the left leg
    • Total steps taken
    • Airborne time, left against right
    • Average stride, left leg
    • Average stride, right leg

    Fitness

The slow curve. Whether capacity is climbing, holding, or quietly eroding across a block.

    Readiness

One question every morning, answered in a colour. Full load today, or not.

    • Days since the last hard session
    • Load ratio against the safe band
    • Readiness score
  • 7

    Injury prevention

Risk surfaced early, while it is still cheap. A prompt to look closer — never a diagnosis.

    • Asymmetry that keeps repeating
    • Accel / decel imbalance risk
    • Weekly load spike risk
    • Sprint exposure below target
    • Overall risk, worst of all signals
  • 18

    Internal load

The bill for the work. Heart zones, cardiac strain, and the ratio that spots a tiring athlete before they look tired.

    • Heart-rate drift at steady effort
    • Average heart rate
    • Peak heart rate this session
    • Share of maximum heart rate
    • Total cardiac work (HR × time)
    • Heart cost per metre covered
    • Beat-to-beat variability (RMSSD)
    • Overall HRV spread (SDNN)

Both cuts, two builds

PRO Vest

Our heart-rate partner's sensor is built into the vest itself — beat-to-beat, with nothing extra to strap on.

EVO Vest

High-compression and easy to wash, with no electronics sewn in. Our partner's heart-rate strap is included.

Questions

Straight answers.

What is Tectus Sport?

An athlete performance tracking system for team sports — football outdoors; basketball, handball and volleyball indoors. A pod in the vest tracks position (GPS on a pitch, UWB in a hall) and movement at 100 Hz, heart rate is measured alongside, and every session and match becomes up to 262 validated metrics.

Are the measurements validated?

Yes, independently. Third-party laboratories validate our measurements, alongside our own testing. And there is no black box: our measurement methods and data-processing methodology are open to scientific scrutiny.

What is the difference between EVO and PRO?

Both use the same pod, pipeline and private network — the difference is how the heart is measured. EVO pairs a high-compression vest with our partner's heart-rate strap. PRO builds the sensor into the vest itself, beat-to-beat with nothing extra to strap on, and unlocks all 262 metrics, injury prevention included.

How is your data stored?

Pod to HUB runs over a private Wi-Fi or UWB link on your pitch or court. HUB to analytics runs over VPN. Analytics and dashboard share a host and communicate through the database.

We already use another system. Will we lose our data?

No. Bring your historical measurements with you — we import them into Tectus, so your history carries on where it left off. It is your data, and it stays yours.

Do the metrics compare athletes against each other?

No. Almost every threshold is relative to the athlete's own baseline, computed from their previous weeks and months. A 90% sprint exposure means 90% of that player's personal maximum, never a squad average.
